DID YOU KNOW...
75% of assisted living residents could be living at home with a little help.
How live-in care works
A live-in caregiver stays in the home 24 hours a day, and is available to assist with all activities of daily living. Our caregivers are on duty 12 hours per day and available in the evening for emergencies only.
If live-in care is provided for 7 days a week, a primary caregiver and a secondary caregiver is assigned to the home. The primary caregiver provides care for 4-5 days a week, and the secondary caregiver assumes responsibility for the remainder of the week.
All live-in caregivers must maintain a separate, permanent residence. They are permitted to reside on the client's premises only during their assigned days and nights, and they must leave the client's premises with their belongings on their days off. They must also adhere to Amada’s policy of no use of the client's property, such as phone, or car for their own personal use. Live-in caregivers must also respect our strict policy of no visitors allowed.
